Rooted in place. Connected to possibility.

01

Why we exist

Our mission statement, as written in our charter.

Signal and Soil exists to bridge the gap between rural America and the tools, resources, and opportunities it deserves — connecting communities to emerging technologies, navigating government and institutional complexity on their behalf, and cultivating local talent and youth so that the next generation of rural leaders, farmers, and business owners can thrive where they are rooted.

Practical know-how and current tools for rural residents and small businesses, taught in person, close to home.

Schools and youth

Work alongside local teachers and classrooms, so young people can build a future where they are rooted.
